Pictures from Cephalonia, (Argostoli), Greece

Our tour included St. Andrew's Monastery & Rombola Winery:

St. Andrew's Monastery was founded in the mid-16th century.  Its chief religious relic is the preserved sole of the foot of the saint.

This old monastery church is the sole building to have survived the Great Quake of 1953.

This is the chief religious relic - the preserved sole of the foot of St. Andrew.

Rombola Winery - The island's rocky limestone soil produces a crisp white wine from Cephalonia's native Rombola grape.  The lady is Sabina, our tour guide for today.

Getting the wine ready for shipment.
